Our International business has big ambitions to grow – and our International Marketing & Communications team has a key part to play in delivering that success. Creative, engaging content that resonates with our target audiences will sit at the heart of our marketing & communications strategy, helping us to increase awareness of our brands and what we offer among new audiences, and support deeper engagement with those who already know us.
The Senior Content Manager will oversee the delivery of consistently high-quality, creative content across our channels (including websites, social media, marketing collateral, special reports and internal communications) that will enable us to meet our objectives.
This is a newly-created role that combines strategy and delivery, providing the opportunity for the postholder to shape the direction of our content programme at an exciting time of growth for business.
Based in London (hybrid; minimum 3 days a week in office), this role reports to the Head of Marketing & Communications. The successful candidate will work closely with International marketing team colleagues in the UK, EU and MENA, as well as global colleagues in the USA, ensuring content is tailored to the needs of specific audiences but is also consistent and on-brand across all markets in which we operate.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee the International marketing team’s content programme, devising and planning content that supports the firm’s strategic objectives across different audiences and geographies
- Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to develop content that showcases our unique expertise and resonates with our audiences
- Write, produce and edit short-form and long-form content including website articles, case studies, reports and guides, marketing collateral, social media
- Manage internal and external partners to produce engaging content across a variety of media and channels
- Explore different content formats and channels to enhance storytelling across various media
- Alongside the Marketing Manager, create and maintain a suite of high-quality marketing materials and templates for each brand (brochureware, factsheets, website, etc), helping to build credibility with our audiences
- Ensure all content across the business is consistent, polished, and on-brand, helping to build trust and credibility with our audiences
- Act as a centralised resource for the International business on all content queries
- Mentor Marketing & Communications team colleagues on all things content
- Deputise for the Head of Marketing & Communications in her absence.
What we’re looking for:
- Extensive experience creating best-in-class content, ideally for B2B audiences
- The ability to spot a compelling story and deliver it in a way that resonates with the target audience
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, working within a voice and style guide to keep our content consistent and on-brand
- A keen eye for detail, with the ability to act as quality and brand arbiter for all content across the International business
- Substantial experience in either producing (or directing the production of) high quality, creative digital content such as videos, animations, podcasts, data viz
- Solid project management experience, prioritising tasks and coordinating agency and internal stakeholders to deliver on time and to brief
- Experience using data to analyse, report and refine activity
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working with colleagues at all levels of seniority and in other locations globally
- Someone who enjoys working proactively, bringing fresh ideas to the team rather than waiting for direction.
